Legacy Hospice

Philosophy
Legacy Hospice affirms life and focuses on the quality of life. Legacy Hospice exists to provide support and care for persons in the last phases of incurable illnesses so that they might live as fully and comfortably as possible.
Hospice recognizes dying as a normal process.
Hospice neither hastens nor postpones death.
Hospice exists in the hope and belief that through appropriate care and the support of a caring community sensitive to their needs, patients and families may be free to attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for death that is satisfactory to them.
Legacy Hospice was established to provide home care for terminally ill patients. Our goal is to help meet patients' physical, emotional, social, arid spiritual needs as well as the needs of their families.
Any patients suffering from a terminal illness may be referred to Legacy Hospice by physicians, nurses, friends or family members. Patients must be certified terminally ill on acceptance, with recertification at the end of two 90-day periods, thereafter.
